Tour Guide – Dave Kavanagh – Dublin
Tour Description
Dublin Rouges Tour is a walking tour in Merrion Square Park taking in the famous former residents of the square including Oscar Wilde, Daniel O’Connell and WB Yeats. We do a piece on each of the statues located on the North side of the Square from Bernardo O’Higgins, Henry Grattan, AE George Russell and Michael Collins.
We talk about others associated with the square such as Brendan Behan, Mamie Cadden, Buck Whaley and Darkey Kelly.
The Tour commences at the Oscar Wilde statue at the North West end of Merrion Square Park and lasts about an hour and 15 minutes.
The Tour costs €10 pp and if guests wish they can join us afterwards for a pint of Guinness at one of Dublin’s iconic traditional pubs for an extra €5 where we will relax and reflect on the day.
Many Thanks,
Dave Kavanagh
